Lisa Osborn is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 12 years experience in working with children, adolescents, and families in non-profit settings. She received her bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Sciences from Oklahoma State University in 2007 and completed her master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from the University of Texas in Austin in 2009. Lisa is trained as a trauma informed therapist, specializing in PTSD, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, low self-esteem, healthy interpersonal relationships, and child behavioral concerns.
Lisa has completed multiple specialized trainings, which include EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), TF-CBT (Trauma Focused -Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), Play Therapy, and incorporates Mindfulness interventions into her practice.
Her approach to counseling is holistic and relationship-based and with the belief that the relationship between client and therapist will have the biggest impact in supporting growth and change. Lisa values creating an individualized, safe space for people to find their inner strengths, resiliency, and capabilities. Her focus through the healing process, while creating a non-judgmental and relaxed atmosphere, is to use humor, authenticity, and compassion.
Lisa Osborn is currently accepting Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO, UHC/Optum, and private pay with day and evening availability.
